My First:

"It was March 19, 2002, my 16th birthday. I was having a party with my twin at the local park, sort of a barbecue and I had gotten some paints and canvas. I sat almost the whole afternoon painting this painting and trying my hardest to make it look real. It has since been one of my favorite scenes and one I have painted over and over again."-The Artist
My Favorite:
"One of my last 2008 paintings. Ma'at is the Egyptian Goddess of Justice, truth, and the decider of fates. She is, to me, the original lady justice. I had painted this pink background (a color I'm not overly fond of) with hints of blue and purple in it and I stared at it for days before the idea came to me. This painting inspires me in goodness and reminds me that there is a whole world of injustices, I don't really need to contribute to them."-The Artist
