Work In Progress

It's not uncommon for artists to have several works that are in progress at one time. Too, there are times when inspiration is lacking, please be patient.



  • Egyptian Goddess'

    Those who know Mandy recognize her passion for Egyptian mythology. It can be seen at her desk at work, in her home, and in her art. This piece is currently being worked on and includes the Goddess' Sekmet, Bast, Iris, and Maat. It's acrylic on stretch canvas over a wood frame and measures 24X 20
    So far Mandy doesn't know what else the painting needs but it will come to her eventually.

  • Reflections

                  Reflections: Palm         Reflections: Beneath the Surface

    "These are a series of photographs I or someone in my family has taken that I want to and have permission to paint as a series. More images will come as I take them or see them taken and get permission to use them. I'd like the reflections to vary between underwater and above water. I plan on making them all sizes and eventually to offer prints. I don't yet know which one I'm going to start with, but time will tell."-The artist
